Job Summary

The Logistics Manager is responsible for supporting warehouse operations including receiving, inspecting, tracking, and distributing incoming and outgoing shipments. The role ensures compliance with Verano Holdings’ standard operating procedures and maintains accurate inventory records in both physical storage and the SAP system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving & Inspection
- Receive all inbound shipments and verify contents against packing slips and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage or discrepancies; notify the Purchasing team immediately if issues arise.
- Stamp, sign, and upload packing slips to the National Receiving Log on Monday.com.
- Perform trailer inspections and complete inspection logs upon delivery and dispatch.
Inventory Management
- Accurately manage inventory using SAP and ensure proper Goods Receipts and Goods Issues are recorded.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain compliance for GMP materials, including labeling, storage, and documentation (e.g., SDS/COA).
Outbound Shipments
- Coordinate timely outbound shipments
- Work with freight partners to secure quotes and arrange pickups.
- Execute SAP Cross Stock Transfers and Fixed Asset Transfers when shipping between Verano facilities.
Documentation & Compliance
- Archive and maintain accurate records of packing slips and inventory counts.
- Ensure all mandatory documentation (e.g., COA, allergen labels) is included with relevant shipments.
- Follow all safety, cleanliness, and pest control standards for both inbound and outbound logistics.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics roles preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to follow detailed instruction and capable of performing repetitive tasks.
- Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to safely climb, squat, bend, twist, kneel and stand for at least 8 hours per day, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to successfully register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.
- Must comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a regulated production facility (food, beverage, CPG, etc.) preferred.
- Pallet jack proficiency preferred.
Physical and Mental Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 25 lb. Able to stand for 90% of the time. Comfortable with heights, occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service the lights, filters, trellis netting and ceiling fans up to 25ft. Comfortable working atop and traversing scaffolding, when required. Comfortable with changing environment temperatures and humidity. Exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other nature elements. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
