Job Summary

This position will serve as the primary architect for the Verano SAP Production Planning, Shop Floor Execution and Plant Maintenance functionality in SAP S/4 HANA and ancillary systems.  The resource will need to support both production incidents and service requests as well as new SDLC configuration/development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Production Planning/Execution, and Plant Maintenance in S4/HANA.
  • Provide functional support for reports, interfaces, enhancements and prepare technical design documents and detailed specification for ABAP programming.
  • Analyze existing business processes and data to identify areas of possible improvements and develop solutions that build value for the organization.
  • Work together with internal customers, cross-functional teams, vendors, business partners to ensure successful implementations.
  • Responsible for current and new localization in new M & A locations.
  • Guide external consultants for localization process or specific requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, or Information technology.
  • ASCM CPIM or SAP PP Certification desirable.
  • 8-10 years of experience in SAP PP and SAP PM with in-depth processes exposure.
  • At least 3 full life cycle implementations of SAP ECC/S/4 HANA.
  • Experience in design, delivery and support of SAP PP and PM applications in S/4 HANA environments in a batch managed environment.
  • Extensive experience of SAP Plant Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, related Materials Management processes, and Order settlement processes.
  • Experience with Forecasting/Demand Planning, MRP, Production Planning for Process Industries, shop floor execution, and Quality Management processes.
  • In depth knowledge of Master Data:  Resources, BOMs, Recipes, Production Versions, Equipment, Functional Locations, Preventative Maintenance Plans, Equipment BOMs, etc.

  • This is a hybrid role requiring weekly in-office days in our Chicago HQ.
